A bit of Christian history
The Old Govan Parish Church building is relatively recent, dating from 1888, but the site is thought to be the oldest place of worship in Glasgow. There are grave markings and other relics going back to the 9th and 10th centuries.
Some of the artefacts date from 50 years before St Columba arrived in Scotland. No surprise that this church is listed as one of Britain's 500 Holiest Places.
This pic was taken looking across the River Clyde. I decided to use Picasa to 'spookify' it a little bit.
Check yesterday's back blip too.
