The Saddest Sunset

Cannot believe that these magnificent creatures are just a five minute walk from my house.
These are the two youngsters.
Another adult one a ten minute walk away.
Another one has been washed up further down the coast.
A whole pod of sperm whales perished.
Thousands of people on this beach today. 
It is usually deserted.
Camera crews, helicopters and marine biologists.
On the news channels, and front page of the papers.
I have never seen a whale before.
Just wish the circumstances had been different.
