Catkins with bokeh

Have also backblipped yesterday's A real beauty ..... hope you will have a look :-)

The weather was being kind again today ..... still mild though rather breezy. I decided to take a quick walk round the little wood for half an hour. So pleased I did :-)

As well as seeing lots of catkins I spent several minutes watching a pair of Great Spotted Woodpeckers ...... I did manage to get a couple of shots ..... but they were near the top of a telegraph pole ...... so I've added one as an Extra :-)
