I have seen the light!!!

It took all day, but eventually, the sun came out... Right before it ducked below the horizon.

I've been tardy with my posts recently because I've been on shifts for the last five days and I have one more before my days off. Today I managed to have a go at exploiting one of the minor drawbacks of my camera, and set it on the little desktop tripod and got a few long exposure shots. In low light, even with the iso turned right up, the shutter takes one second to complete an action. So now that I've had a go of using the slow shutter rather than trying to carry on in spite of it, I'm going to have to have another go... Watch this space.
