Stewed

I spent the day mostly on my own with Amélie, which was great fun. Dropped off my wife and mother in law in town to girly stuff like get their nails done and have lunch. Me and Amélie watched UFC and drank beer. Actually we made cupcakes and watched Sex & the city. Actually we spent the day at home, in the garden, saying hello to my parents (her Grandparents) and Uncle Hugh.

We had planned a trip to the Riverside Museum but didn't make it in the end, instead we watched Wimbledon - you know the programme where the British guy gets beat and then they make him Scottish? thats the one!

Made a delicious lamb and red wine stew (that I fully intended photographing for this blip - but it was so tasty I forgot). We had it with some mash with spring onions and mustard. Yum!

Oh, and saw my Gran after her operation and everything is A.OK! Thanks for the best wishes about that. . .
