Its opened!

Just seven days ago I blipped the unopened flower head, today they have started to open. The really big coloum is still growing and its flower cluster is just visible in its crown.
Most of the day has been spent hacking out with Miller and Mrs A S , cleaning under the rubber matts in Millers stable ( a truely aromatic chore), watching the Grand Prix and the Tennis ;-( .
For those who looked at yesterdays link, the lovely crafted tool is a strap cutter, it allows the saddler to cut straight and even strips from a tanned hide!
