Our camp

Yessssss! We had success last night! I can't remember the last time I slept so well or so long. We were in bed at dusk and awake at dawn this morning. Cousteau slept through, as did Mr B. The fan was the best $70 we've ever spent!

So, today we were a little more lively. We had a bit of a swim with Cousteau; washed the dog and washed ourselves (rinsing with clean water - it's not the cleanest river I've ever swum in!) and I wrote a letter.

Mr B's friends arrived this afternoon, with Skittles, their brown Lab. She ran Cousteau ragged for an hour or so before they got used to each other.

A catch up around the camp fire tonight.
