Spring ahead

So January is drawing to a close, the first month of the year is nearly over. And that can only mean Spring is that little bit closer.
The mild weather for the month has fooled the snowdrops and especially the daffodils. Both score in making gardens look that much brighter even though the rest of it looks to be in sad need of tender loving care.
I paid my first visit for several months to the nearest household waste disposal centre today with a load of garden rubbish and that in itself must mean I’m perhaps grudgingly beginning to think of the garden again.
But perhaps I’ll leave the tidying up for another day or two yet.

Don’t want to disturb the snowdrops, after all!
