Enough Emotion?
Yes, it's another Wimbledon screen shot. But it's been a Wimbledon dominated weekend!
Andy Murray gets a bad rap. The Haters believe him to be miserable and emotionless, and they think he lacks the ability and the bottle to win a major tournament.
This isn't helped by the press, who build 'em up and knock 'em down.
I grew up watching the predecessor to Andy's crown. Tim Henman was also vastly under rated. I saw him winning trophies, and he got to semi finals grand slams. You have to be bloody good to get to those, just because he never won one that doesn't mean he wasn't a great player.
Andy Murray is a damn fine player. If you see him outside of the tennis environment he is a nice and funny guy. Sure, he's serious on the court, but that is what he gets paid to do, he's an athlete, he wants to win, he gets annoyed when he doesn't.
Today he more than held his own against one of the greatest players of all time. And I don't think there were many dry eyes in the country when he took the mic off Sue and said his thank yous at the end.
He will win a grand slam one day, and that day will be all the sweeter.
