Hornbill

A day of domestic drudgery today so I have resorted to an indoor Blip. A conversation on another Blipper's journal a few days ago reminded me of this carved hornbill. It is made from a piece of old wood; perhaps driftwood but more likely sun-bleached desert wood as we bought it on a holiday in Namibia a few years ago. I've always liked the way the carved and uncarved parts of the wood merge together.
