Wet and wild

The forecaster was right and the day proved very wet and very wild. Lorries overturned, chimneys blown down, roads closed but we were cosy in the office except for a short lived power cut.

A very productive morning with colleagues from London, Birmingham and Newcastle before an expedition out east. I've been approved for the Board of Edinburgh College and I was down for my induction. It was dark when I came out. The Club is lit up but the Boardroom, the bridge of the former Nautical College, is in darkness.

Quiet evening in and packing for 2 more days in London.
