Windsor #2

The first full day of the Windsor Leadership Dialogue. Utterly fascinating - the process, the people and the place. My head is just too full to make any sense of it yet but it's all good.

An incredible opportunity this evening to first of all attend a Sung Eucharist Service (a first for me) in St George's Chapel, the church in the grounds of Windsor Castle, and then later on get a private tour with the amazing Charlotte. She was the best guide I've ever met by a country mile - she made the incredible history of the place just shine so vividly, especially for a non-believer. The flags and ceremonial helmets of the Knights of the Garter were unexpectedly quirky and delightful.

At one stage we were standing with the body of King Henry VIII underneath us - incredible. It is also the resting place of 10 Monarchs.

It was a powerful end point to a powerful day.
