Last run...
... from the cottage.
Thank heavens for the Minx, who inspired and motivated me today such that we packed up most of what's left in the cottage. It's all boxed and ready to go.
And once she'd gone and I'd dropped Dan and Abi back at the house, all that was left was to get out for my run. To stick to my training schedule I needed to do six miles, today, so I did an old favourite - out through Kearstwick, up Hophouse Lane, and through Low Biggins - with a little bit tagged on the end to bump it up to the required distance.
It felt good, actually: I am still too heavy but there were no aches and pains. If anything I simply felt a bit slow. Next time I run, though, it will be from the house!
