My paradise on Earth
I took Jane and Dan to one of my fave spots on this tiny planet, Anilao, to go diving. After 2 years of absence the place welcomed me home with open arms, as always. It felt good to be back and felt soooooo good to be able to dive again after a year of not being able to do it. The leg held but after only two dives, the knee was already very sore. I guess I have to start with baby steps.
We all enjoyed the day despite the rain, like getting wet from the rain is a big deal! Ha! The dives though made me miss my old leg. No more power dives for me, not until I manage to get the leg fit and strong. Rehab rehab, takes too bloody looooong!
This is Balayan Bay and the island to the left is Maricaban Island and a small isle in the middle covered in fog is Sombrero Island thus named as it looks like a Mexican Sombrero when viewed from above. This area is littered with amazing dive sites. This is where I did my first dive 9 years ago and i've visited this place so many times that it does feel like home.
