Mae'r iaith Cymraeg o dan bwysedd o'i gymydog, Saesneg, ac mae'r ddadl yn parhau, un iaith, neu ddau? Dylwn ni cadw Cymraeg? I fi, mae'n bwysig cadw Cymraeg, gyda'i hanes, diwylliant ac mae'r olygfa wahanol sy'n dod gydag iaith wahanol. The Welsh language is under pressure from its neighbour, English, and the debate continues, one language, or two? Should we keep Welsh? To me, it's important to keep Welsh, with its history, culture and the different view that comes with a different language. Everyone who can speak Welsh can speak English (except people in Patagonia, who speaks Welsh and Spanish), and some people are able to speak both languages with equal fluency, and they use both in everyday conversation, moving from one to another. Despite being taught in Welsh,
Rwy'n deall be' ti'n dweud,
And anything that you can do,
Fe alla i ei wneud

You see the glorious sunshine,
A minnau'r heulwen braf,
You love the summer's lengthy days,
A minnau'n caru'r haf.

And when the winter brings its storms,
A'r byd yn crynu i gyd,
My thanks I give for all I am,
Mewn dwy iaith o hyd.
