Go-Karting Girl

Today was Amy and her friend Oliver's 9th birthday party. They both wanted to have a go at go-karting and a local track near us organise's children's parties, so it was perfect.

They invited 6 friends and took turns racing around the track... James even had a go as one friend was unable to come, so there was a space. After initial nerves, watching both my children hurtling around at speed, trying to control their steering, I relaxed.

Amy and Oliver had a ball and everyone really enjoyed it. The sun even came out for the whole time we were there. Amy announced on the way home that it was "her best party ever!" That's my 'tomboy'!
