Journey Through Time

These flowers are in the neighborhood. They have a bunch of them in the front yard and so...Blip! Taken with the nifty 50. But I almost went with another neighbor's kitty, who was chillin' in the cool grass.. It went past warm and into hot today. I was out and about on my street hunting a blip, and now I need something cool to drink and to sit and cool down some.

I did sell my old 300mm lens on July 4th. That was nice to get that money. We also agreed to sell our gas barbecue. The thing is big and we really don't have a good place for it to be. We don't have a large family, no big gatherings, and I don't usually buy all that expensive fancy cuts of meat anyway. So, we have a nice little Weber that works great and now that they have self-starting charcoal and with that nice mesquite flavor they put on it...I think that's all we need. And we can easily store that away in the winter. So, up on Craigslist the gas grill went and it sold the other day. Had to come down a bit on the price, but I left that up to Bill. The eyesore is out of the back yard. YAY.

Tomorrow morning a guy is coming to wash some of our windows. YAY again. He does our neighbor's windows twice a year, so I snagged him to come to our place. He must have a heck of a business because he is booked pretty far out.

So, a cold drink is calling my name. Hope you guys are all chillin' too. See ya later, Blippers.
