The Old Market

Today's my day off, and I've been pottering about doing little odd and end jobs.

 I had a walk out to get my Blip and went into the Cornhill part of the market, which is now closed down to make way for redevelopment of this part of town. It is pretty eerie seeing it so empty and silent after being used to there being a hive of activity in there.

The Co-op and the bus station, along with the shops in the area are getting a complete facelift - knocked down and started again in some cases! It does need doing, and it's something that they have been talking about for around 20 years. Looks like they are finally getting round to it! Let's hope they finish it without running out of money!

Does anyone else get the calls from a dodgy call centre possibly based in India, claiming to be from Microsoft or Windows Technical Department or similar, claiming to have detected a problem with your computer? It is a SCAM! I've been getting several of them a day just recently! They want you to download something onto your computer - don't do it! It is a way of spying, or getting you to give them access to your computer, or to purchase pricey but worthless "security" products from them. It's a worldwide problem apparently!
