Cairo Thumbnails . . .
. . . and others!
Here's a view you don't get to see in quite such an array . . . my recent thumbnails in browse mode. I always find it interesting to study this from time to time - not to marvel at the quality of image but, yes, to marvel at the fact that if it weren't for this place this little lot wouldn't exist AND to observe tendencies in palette preference, tone, grain, comp lines and so on. Of course, they mutate over time and may depend on whether I'm running a series on something like facades or abstracts based on buildings. But I do think that for quite a while I've seen a certain colour signature coming through that is repeated, expanding over the page when shown like this.
What do you think?
What do you detect in your own thumbnail browse view?
Note for my record: four countries, three continents and two hemisphere covered in these 18 thumbnails.
