the sudden sun
out walking for lunch
an opening
sky
the sudden sun
blue
warmth on my skin
the slooshing puddles
underfoot
and no ferryman
to cross
a sound
approaching overhead
straight towards me
with the sun-rays
I look up
at an arrow
shooting
my way
wild geese
in flight
this lunchtime
pointing the way
lifting
and piercing
my heart
with the feel
of its Northbound
sound
