Roses...

No, MrM hasn't developed a romantic streak!

I just couldn't resist a huge bunch of roses (18) that had been hugely reduced in price when we popped in to a supermarket yesterday evening. Not a huge fan of scentless roses available in shops, but I love the colour of these, and their 'vintage' (if that's the right word) quality. Their outer petals are very thin and papery, almost as though they've been dried, while the inner petals feel quite fleshy.
