Testing times

Bye, Newcastle. Got the 14.55 home.

The meeting was successful, although not without its irritations.

I suspect the pattern will be reversed for next week's meeting. More irritations and less success.

This is my 27th day without alcohol. My resolve has been tested a few times. Emerging from today's meeting after 5.5 hours in the same room, and finding I had almost an hour to wait for my train in a part of the city which has pubs on every corner... well, it was a test for sure.
