Not the photo I ever wanted to post.

My car - less than two year old Citroen - being towed in to an independent mechanic, by the AA following a breakdown which now turns out to be quite a common fault.
 
Citroen cannot order a part until they have diagnosed and assessed the problem themselves, even though the AA mechanic has done so and stripped the offending parts down, but at the same time they cannot look at the car until next week at the earliest. If their diagnosis agrees with the AA, they will then order the part at (my words) some extortionate price and then get round to helping me out. Oh and BTW. It's out of warranty!
 
By the time I arrived at said independent mechanic, he had the part on his workbench and, all being well, will have it fitted and me back on the road by tomorrow.

And guess what my answer will be when Citroen dealer phones me up to offer me an update on my car?
