Muddied....but unbowed
I climbed Ben A'an in the Trossachs this afternoon.
You walk through a forest, which, given the summer we've had, was boggy in parts. In the middle of the path was a boggy part so I decided to go round to the side and put my foot down onto what I thought was solid ground. It was four foot of bog. Fortunately my gaiters took most of the mud and I carried on to the summit.
I was going to post a nice scenic view of Loch Katrine from the top but not content with biting me profusely the midges have appeared in shot as black splodges, the swines.
