high voltage

Another wet day, today I was wiser and wore my waterproofs. I still got somewhat wet but it didn't require as much grumping as yesterday.

Wednesday, museum day. Had a nice wonder through Kingdom of the Scots part of the museum. I usually bypass that section, probably because the boys tend to be into either technology or natural history. Anyway, today's photo is of the Cockroft-Walton generator which was used for high voltage physics experiments (not from our basement...)
