Alford Today

Awsomo, Webster and I headed to Alford today.

First stop was the cemetery to visit our darling Harris, then Grunny & Granda Wack and the rest of the Murray/Wackett Clan. It's strange visiting somewhere you've gone your whole life, but didn't know the people you were paying your respects to. I'm grateful that our darling boy is not on his own.

After that, we took the pup for a lovely walk round Haughton House and it's grounds. I hadn't been there since I was a kid and gone camping with Mama T. Had almost completely forgot that there's a train that runs a circuit along the property and golf course as well. Am a little gutted we didn't have change to go for a wee ride. It looked so cute.

Then we thought we might take a little peek at the Grampian Transport Museum. When we got there though it was just closing. Maybe take a gander some other time. Husband has raved about going for ages.

And for the first time since December, it was actually warm, bright and sunny. Made all the difference to my mood too. It's never an easy trip to take.
