Ice cutter

Moscow River in snow, this afternoon.  My second blip is the view looking the other way.  Temperatures are up to zero C tonight.  Question is how long will the ice last.

It's always a challenge shooting in a very white environment like this one.  The light is weak (snow falling adds further complications), there are really no colours to speak of (beyond back and white), and it's hard to find contrast in the composition, or at least in the details of this.
