Silly Me

When Sarah went out at about 7 this evening, she laughed as I was wandering around the house with a headtorch on.  She said I looked daft.

The reason that I was wearing the headtorch was that I had earlier thrown food into the food waste bin outside and then realised that I'd left a knife on the plate.  So, I donned the headtorch to rummage around outside in the bin in the dark in the hope of retrieving the knife.  When I came into the house after searching, I totally forgot that I was still wearing the headtorch.   Still, it amused Sarah.

When Sarah got home three hours later, she got another laugh as I was still wearing the headtorch.  I was totally oblivious to it being on my head.  Silly me!
