Lavender Blue

Most of the family went on trip today. They were off to visit number one son, who is away for three weeks speaking Irish in the Gaeltacht. Unfortunately one of our daughters was sick so I had to stay behind.
Obviously I was very sad that I didn't get to see my teenage son but I did get a day in the garden. Catching up with the weeding, the pruning and the planting out of all my little seedlings was the best thing my garden has seen in weeks.
