Poppies and campanula

This is not my garden. As I said in a comment to yesterday's blip, we have 132 houses in our village, all of them with their own garden in its own style. I would love to have poppies and campanula in my garden, but for some reason they won't grow there. It is like my garden decides for itself what it will and will not accept. Even my tries to convince it with different treatments of the soil has not worked out. Luckily, I can find and photograph lots of flowers in the other gardens.
