Magical musicians
Stressful day for all sorts of family related reasons, but was totally relieved by an evening with Maestro Kennedy and pals at the Usher Hall.
That's him in the middle, towards the end of the concert, when he and two guitarists, a double base player and a snare drummer gave us half an hour of Grappelli / Reinhardt-esque magic, after an amazing arrangement of Vivaldi's Quatro Stagione. There was also a set of four songs written in the flavour of four of NK's fave composers, one of which had this man in tears.
Altogether a wonderful end to a mediocre day, and worth every penny of the £30 each for the "Gods" seats, hard as they are!
Sorry about the poor quality of the photo. Crappy phone camera!
