Iron Age settlement

Back in the field doing surveys again. Felt great to get out of the office for a day. 

This is "Dysjane" on the plain south of Stavanger, called Jæren. There are 7 of these settlements here, consisting of 16 houses in an elliptical shape, with a burial mound in the center. No one knows the exact purpose of these settlements.
