Groom's Cake

The groom's cake has a rich tradition in wedding history, particularly in SE America.
Groom's cakes offer couples just one more chance to offer guests a sweet decadent escape, and they can often be chance for a fun, personal note.
They will often be tailored to speak to the groom's own interests and passions.


To this end, my dear wife undertook to bake and decorate her great rich chocolate cake, reflecting our son's love of the African bush and its wonderful wildlife. The Baobab tree is also a favourite of his.
