What are the odds, eh?

+1/3 was due to go on a school trip to Paris last November. The shootings of the 13th November put paid to that. The school re-arranged the trip... for this weekend. And of course, one of the places they were going to visit was Disneyland Paris. Not any more. To say +1/3 is disappointed is a bit of an understatement. Never mind, he's away skiing in two weeks!

The drive home today was utter chaos: for some reason one of the tunnels on the north circular was closed (emergency roadworks? accident?) over rush hour and the traffic was stationary for miles. What happens then is that people try and get off the north circular and find a rat run home... which means that all of the road were bonkers. Lots of frayed tempers, dodgy u-turns and honking of horns. 

Double bah.
