Flower Friday - An Opening Rose

I went to the Pethybridge Gardens this morning at 8 am to try and beat the wind - but it got there before me. However, I was able to find a fairly sheltered spot and captured this single red rose just beginning to open. I have no idea what it is called but is probably an old fashioned variety.  I love the rich colour.
