Dokki Detour

I let my guard down for a few seconds on the taxi ride home tonight and before I knew it the driver was vearing to the right, rather than going straight ahead and through the tunnel to Dokki. Nothing I could do except tut loudly, tap on my watch and shake my head in disapproval. Oh to be able to speak Arabic at times like this! Anyway, at least I got a taxi grab blip out of it. The journey home usually takes 10 mins and tonight it was 25, so I really shouldn't complain.
