The Queensland Maroons have taken out their seventh straight Origin series win. In what was one of the closest deciding games in history, Qld managed to snatch the win by a field goal thanks to the hefty right boot of Cooper Cronk. 21 to 20 was the final score and all you can say is better luck next year to the Blues.

There was a bet that was taking place over Ikon Communications Facebook page. The winning state got to change the colour of the Ikon logo to their team's colours. Mighty maroon it is!
