Bending over backwards

At last it's all over. We did everything we could for the pitch, now it will come down to the commercials. I was blindsided by the huge sense of anticlimax afterwards - you don't get any feedback, and it feels odd after such a gargantuan effort.

In the evening we had our long overdue New Year party - with a circus theme. This contortionist bent over backwards to please us, giving the day an odd symmetry.
