Twemlow Viaduct, Holmes Chapel

The viaduct built in 1841 by G W Buck engineer to Manchester and Burmingham railway company, there are 23 arches in total, each arch as a 18 metre span on piers 3m wide and 8m deep. Between one of the arches flows the River Dane.
