Between Games

As if the heat weren't enough, today my oldest played in a basketball tournament! Luckily we played early in the day, but on the way to the game, at 9:30 am, the car thermometer clicked over to 90 degrees!! The heat in the gyms was almost overwhelming. Several big electric fans were set up to help the air move and the refs called a few mandatory time outs to ensure the girls stayed hydrated. After the last game we all came back to our house for a dip in the pool. I'm not sure I've ever been more happy to have a pool as I have been these past few days....
