Just one cornetto ...

So there we were ambling around a wonderful botanical gardens in very hot conditions. We thought it was time for something cool, an ice cream perhaps. So we changed course to head towards the cafe.

In front of us, a monkey had a similar idea. It was sitting on the path looking around, checking whether anyone was watching. Once satisfied, it ran a short distance and leapt onto a green bin, deftly pulling it down while jumping out of the way. Inside was the treasure it sought.

We had to pay for ours.
