Here we come!

During a brief spell of dry weather L and I battled against the wind and walked round the loch. We watched a flock of lapwings wheeling round before coming to land in their usual spot on the rocks at the water's edge. I find it rather difficult to capture birds in flight but I felt this shot really showed the markings on the lapwings.
