Can anyone help?

I'd love to know what these are....they flew over the house earlier.I have worked out they are flying machines of some sort...namely jets but what are they?

I was supposed to be on-call this weekend in case anything went wrong at the International Air Tatoo at Fairford but I couldn't do it because of study so my name was taken off the list and my knowledge regarding what to do in terms of how an 'emergency rest centre' works was thankfully not called upon. Slightly annoyed that I have some blobs of somethng on the lens....that's a job for later IF I remember.

If the Lancaster Bomber goes over (very little chance) I may well replace this picture. Now time to get back to study with my ears firmly open!
