Lac Taney is Frozen

..... despite the warm temperatures we are experiencing in Switzerland. You can see why. It was in deep shadow for all but 20 mins this morning. We were lucky to get there just at the right time when the sun popped briefly over the mountains then rapidly disappeared and fog started to fill the valley. If you look at the far end of the lake, you can see the tiny village of Taney which does not get the sun at all at the moment. Brrrr, no wonder the restaurants are the only chalets open and only at the weekends. Fortunately we had taken a flask and picnic with us.
