Day out

It is Stewart's birthday day out today and first stop was Cafe Tabu, our favourite restaurant for lunch. I didn't book cos thought it would be quiet, but no, really busy and we lucky to get a table!! Although the birthday was on Tuesday, we have spent many a middle of the week in January out for Dinner sitting alone in empty restaurants so we go at the weekend now. Birthdays in January before pay day should be banned!! Meal was great as usual.

Next stop was the pictures for the afternoon Matinee to see The Revanant. Really enjoyed it. Cinematography was fabulous, and enjoyed the storyline . Some gruesome bits where had to cover my eyes but mostly able to watch. Couple of hours of viewing and no yawns so that's a good sign! And there were no annoying slurpers, trying to getting final final dribble out of a plastic cup with their straw and also no irritating talkers and coughers, and those that think cinema means gorging themselves on sweets, burgers and popcorn. Lights up and could see why as most of the audience were our age - best time to go I think

Home to the beast and a quick walk and lazing on the sofa.
