Soggy Friday

Or maybe I should say Gertrude was here.
She certainly threw the toys out of the pram around here. Bits of trees down on the A9 on the way to work this morning, no trains north out of Inverness, no trains from Perth to Inverness, yet another land slide closing the A82, power transformers exploding spectacularly.
It's been a good day on a more personal level too, pity about my laptop crashing quite spectacularly whilst I was just clicking save file on a document I had just finished working on, hey ho, expect the unexpected eh
It's pouring rain outside, snow forecast for overnight, the storm has passed but another one is waiting in the wings, hope they call it something it likes to be called and it's a bit kinder than Gertrude has been.
A lazy indoor blip today, some seaside souvenirs, my little bit of my favourite place in the world, the Isle of Wight, how I miss it.
