Apple picking

Took a late afternoon trip to the local Apple Store with a friend who wanted to invest in a new computer. A very clued-up guy patiently guided us through the maze of technology features and available choices, until she narrowed it all down to the one she wanted. It was fun, and I loved the colourful precision of the way in which all the shop's wares around us were displayed.

That strange dome in the foreground? It's some kind of high-tech speaker, with a very wince-making price.
