Cullercoats in Bloom

Saw these lovely tulips in Cullercoats. My friends Cori and Alex and I walked along the long sands from Tynemouth following fish and chips in the Friary by the Priory. I miss living on Tyneside so much! I don't know why Edinburgh, despite being a beautiful city, just doesn't do it for me in the same way. Maybe it's just that Tyneside all seems more accessible and friendly. Dunno.


Earlier in the day I'd also caught up with Mary and Colin, along with Grace and Ophelia, for a trip to the Great North Museum and the Laing.

A very good day with old friends in loved places:)
