Bucketing Down Rain
Most afternoons lately we have had a storm, or at least some rain. This afternoon was no exception. The tank is full and the overflow and couldn't cope with the excess through the overflow pipe.
We have begun our landscape project of the back garden. The person who provided the plan suggested having some walls using sandstone but, whilst it looks great when new, it relatively quickly can turn dull grey. We decided to go with sandstock bricks. (These were popular in Sydney up until the 1880s.) We purchased 500 from a brick recycler and I transported them home in three trips with the box trailer from the supplier in Smithfield. I transported the first lot yesterday and made two more trips this morning - so task completed. The folk at the supplier were most helpful and assisted me to load them.
The next job is to clean them with the high pressure gun.
