Pelorus River

Keith and I travelled back home from Kaiteriteri today. We drove in convoy as far as Pelorus Bridge where we had a late afternoon tea at the cafe. Then Keith drove on ahead leaving me to photograph scenes from the bridge high above the Pelorus River.
A number of lithe, tanned and fit young folk were jumping off the rocks and swimming in the clear cold water. The white splash at the bottom of this image shows where a young fellow had landed in the river. Rather them than me! But it made for great spectator sport...
